Weekdays provide less time to write so I’ll likely post shorter items and videos mid-week. Like this one. OK Go have written many excellent songs and their first album is a power-pop masterpiece, but over the last few years they’ve become more well-known for their innovative videos. You may recognize them from their high-budget and uber-influential treadmill video, and if you don’t, feel free to Google it…I can wait…
“This Too Shall Pass” uses only one continuous camera shot, no edits, and no camera tricks. It’s Mousetrap on steroids. Be sure to watch this on full screen and change the quality to 1080 HD (for some reason, you can only do that after you’ve hit play). It’s worth it.
