Roundin’ Up The Raves: Caroline Rose, Beatchild & The Slakadeliqs, Andy Cooper, Pearl Charles

Fell behind during a week that happened to have a thousand new releases. Not the best time to slip, but I took a few extra hours to listen to them all(ish). None shall escape!

The music can run. The music can hide. But I track those audacious albums without mercy, so that you do not miss what shouldn’t be missed. Because I love you, my loyal readership.

Heart eyes emoji face, y’all …. I mean it.

Let’s round ’em up.

Caroline Rose – LONER

After more of a roots-rock debut, Rose eschews definition on her latest and lets it all fly where it may, to fantastic effect.

Beatchild & The Slakadeliqs – Heavy Rockin’ Steady

A modern take on Sly Stone’s mix of pop, soul, and psych.

Andy Cooper – The Layered Effect

Spittin’ rhymes that roll trippingly off the tongue to a jazztastic beat.

Pearl Charles – Sleepless Dreamer

Warm and relaxed pop with a 70’s West Coast vibe.
