Roundin’ Up The Raves: Paul McCartney, Steven A. Clark, Derwin Deez

Uhhh, running a little behind today. I’m just going to throw the music at you and you catch it, okay?

Let’s round ’em up.

Paul McCartney – Egypt Station

Yes, McCartney is my favorite artist. But that actually makes it less likely that I would recommend one of his albums. It has to be good. And this one is.

While most of his contemporaries have retired, or busied themselves with albums of cover songs, Paul still makes the eminently catchy pop-rock he’s always made.

Steven A. Clark – Where Neon Goes To Die

Soulful pop and R&B with a little 80’s-edition Prince popping up on occasion.

Darwin Deez – 10 Songs That Happened When You Left Me with My Stupid Heart

Deez marches to the beat of his own drum, crafting quirky, electronic pop gems so that you may hum along with the heartbreak.
