Words escape me. But these albums won’t! The music needs to be heard. And so it shall be.
Let’s round ’em up.
Jukebox The Ghost – Off To The Races
If Queen had been a power-pop band…or Ben Folds decided to be Jellyfish.
Rainbow Kitten Surprise – How To: Friend, Love, Freefall
A fine example of not judging a band by their cover, or their name.
Her most introspective album to date, and possibly her best.
Confidence Man – Confident Music For Confident People
Oh, were you looking for some funky fun dance-pop? I happen to have some available.
I was astounded by “Fever Pitch”. I’m off to find it at iTunes. I liked “Everybody’s Lonely” – such a jolly catchy tune for a not otherwise jolly topic, sort of Abba-esque. Thanks for the introduction to Rainbow Kitten Surprise (what a daft name…)
Yes, “Fever Pitch” is quite something, isn’t it? Not at all what I would have expected from a band called Rainbow Kitten Surprise. I’m very glad you’re finding new songs to enjoy!
